Alexander Tanev – Rondo Scherzando
for trombone and symphony orchestra

Rondo Scherzando was written in 1964 for the annual Bulgarian trombone competition as a piece for Trombone & Piano. In 1971 the work was orchestrated for full Symphony Orchestra. It is the most popular and beloved solo piece among the Bulgarian trombone literature.
